League of Legends: Wild Rift is the mobile version of one of the most popular MOBA PC game, League of Legends. The game is currently in the open beta testing phase for Android and iOS devices in Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand. In addition to this, the game will also be released for consoles, but there hasn’t been any official information regarding which consoles will support it. Although, the leaks have suggested it might be coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
Meanwhile, a lot of players are wondering if League of Legends: Wild Rift supports cross-platform matching among all the supported devices including its PC version. The answer is the game doesn’t support cross-platform matchmaking with the PC version because the mobile version is completely redesigned with new maps and mechanics.
However, the players playing on Android and iOS devices can play with each other. In addition to it, the developers are exploring the possibilities for enabling the cross-platform matching between mobiles and consoles, although nothing has been confirmed yet. We will be able to get the confirmation regarding this once the game is launched for consoles and at the moment, Riot Games has announced no timeline for its launch on this platform.
