With Innersloth deciding to continue support for Among Us rather develop a sequel, fans will soon have access to some major changes coming to the party game. In a letter posted to Steam, the team detailed a “small roadmap” that mentions the implementation of an account system, a new map, and further colorblind support.

As soon as December, an account system will be coming to Among Us, which is primarily looking to aid players in reporting hackers. The developer claims it may be “barebones at first,” but will introduce the highly-requested “friends list” feature at a later date.

The post also states a new “Henry Stickmin themed” map is being worked on, which is bigger than Polus and will bring along new tasks. Innersloth also plans to deliver more expansive options in terms of colorblind and localization support. A release date for these has not been given, but the team stresses that these are on the forefront.

As of November 4, users will see the inclusion of an Anonymous Voting option, removing each player’s color when votes are placed. Aside from new fixes and cosmetics, new Task Bar modes are also live, making it optional to allow tasks to only show during meetings or not at all.
